Globalization: A World Changing Rapidly Not for Good!




Globalization can be defined as the process of international integration arising from the interchange of of world views, products, ideas and other aspects of culture. Two major players that globalization has are the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. The World Organization enforces trade agreements which they are also responsible for drawing them. The United Nations are a peace keeping organization which is an essential player in globalization. The help analyze economic issues and aid poor countries. You should care for globalization because it is occurring on a daily basis all over the world. Many of the things we consume or even wear come from the main primary economic force in the World and is the economic system continues to work.

Cultural and Social Impacts

Globalization can outweigh the costs that globalization is leaving behind for the dramatic rise that it is having. This is clearly shown by the effect of globalization on culture. For example, people have had now weakened traditions and are viewed more Americanized. The local hometown languages are dying out and being replaced with the expansion of other languages such as English or Spanish, which are some of the primary dominant languages.

The artificial cultures of materialism are being driven my multinational companies. Such companies like McDonald's Cooperation are taking over the whole world. Even though many cooperation like this one, can enrich cultures with the exposure of new ways it affects the future generations.

Environmental Impacts

Globalization also has many costs to the environment, which damage mother Earth. The economic development is very hard on the environment. 


For example, climate change has been lately a big effect on planet Earth. Many scientist now believe that human activity is causing the global climate to become warmer. Greenhouse gases and the Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere are shortening the air we breathe and the clean air future generations will to, if they even get to live without masks over their faces. In China there are many factories that have created a pollution haven that sometimes it is almost impossible to see through the smokey clouds of pollution.

Willing to make a Change?

Globalization will only continue to expand over time. But there are ways to prevent it from expanding or making more changes if people started to stand up for themselves. Are you planning to make a change and stand up for yourself?
